The Historic Fourth Ward Park Conservancy has always been a volunteer organization …and we can use more people like you!
Ways you can help:
Join us during our community workdays for a variety of projects such as invasive removal, trash pick-up or spreading pine straw in the landscape beds
Help raise awareness of the Conservancy by distributing information at park events
Volunteer at a Conservancy event (e.g., festival food tent, information table)
Join the board!

Most volunteer activities include trash pick up, invasive removal, hardscape improvements, mulching, planting, weeding and general maintenance. You can bring your own gloves and/or tools, but most will be provided when necessary.
Work days are a great place to meet new people, meet your neighbors, make new friends, and give back to your favorite park! They are open to all ages, but some tasks may be too strenuous for small children, and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
In the event of fewer than five people registering for a work day, the work day will be canceled and any registered volunteers will be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
